Bear Alert

Homeowners,

Over the past few weeks there has been evidence that a bear or bears have been visiting our neighborhood. Early Wednesday morning (garbage day) a bear was seen at the end of Kanaskat Drive. The bear was attempting to get a snack from a trash can pulled out the night before.

The Black Diamond Police Dept were contacted and informed us that 2 bears were roaming the Cedar Brooke (mobile home park) several days ago.

Please take the necessary precautions of protecting your children & pets. If you are using the nature trails be sure to make noise.  If possible, set trash out on Wednesday morning instead of the night before.  Hopefully this is only temporary.
